Harley-Davidson: to develop an R&D center in Silicon Valley

(CercleFinance.com) - Harley-Davidson has announced the creation of a new research and development center in Silicon Valley to support its future product portfolio, including its first full range of electric vehicles.


As a satellite of the product development site Willie G. Davidson of Wauwatosa (Wisconsin), this new center in Northern California is expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year.

The motorcycle manufacturer has already started recruiting talent in electrical, mechanical and software engineering. The center is expected to initially have 25 employees, most of who will be hired in the Silicon Valley region.
