Ford: phased production and operations restart in US

(CercleFinance.com) - Ford announced on Thursday evening that it is preparing for a gradual restart of its production activities in North America from 18 May, with reinforced safety measures, starting with employees who are unable to work remotely.


Ford's equipment distribution centers will resume full operations on 11 May, to support dealers in providing services to customers to maintain their vehicles.

"Robust safety and care measures have been implemented globally to support a safe and healthy environment for the company's workforce with health assessment measures, personal protective equipment and facility modifications to increase social distancing," it said.
