Meta Platforms: EPS up 73% in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday evening Meta Platforms, the operator of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, unveiled EPS up 73% to $5.
16 for Q2 2024, with operating margin improving by nine points to 38%.

The social networking giant's quarterly revenues rose 22% to nearly $39.1bn, while its average daily users grew 7% year-on-year to 3.27 billion in June.

In terms of outlook, Meta anticipates between $38.5bn and $41bn in revenues for the current quarter, and forecasts capital expenditure of between $37bn and $40bn for the year, compared with a previous range of $35bn to $40bn.
