EBay: acquisition of Caramel finalized

(CercleFinance.com) - eBay says it has completed the acquisition of Caramel, a provider of end-to-end online automotive transaction solutions, a deal previously announced in January, with no financial details.


Caramel's innovative technology platform offers a secure and seamless digital transaction experience that manages all the complexities of a vehicle sale, including paperwork, ownership transfer, financing and transportation.

In addition to simplifying the buying and selling of vehicles on eBay, Caramel will remain available on its own site or app, at independent contract dealerships or via its multiple marketplace and auction partners.
