Comcast: Q2 EPS above expectations

(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has published Q2 adjusted EPS that is up 13% at 78 cents, beating the consensus by three cents, while adjusted EBITDA was up 17.
5% at 8.72 billion dollars.

At 26.9 billion dollars, the cable operator's revenue, which in particular is the parent company of NBCUniversal and Sky, increased by 23.6%. In its cable business alone, revenues rose by 3.9%.

Brian L. Roberts, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Comcast Corporation, said, "We now have nearly 55 million high-value direct customer relationships, including the 456,000 net additions in the second quarter, and a vast library of intellectual property."
