Comcast: Q1 EPS above expectations
(CercleFinance.com) - Comcast has reported Q1 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 16.
9% at 76 cents, beating the consensus by 9 cents, and adjusted EBITDA that is up 18.1% at 8.55 billion dollars.
At 26.9 billion dollars, the cable operator's revenues, which is the parent company of NBCUniversal and Sky, grew by 17.9%. In its cable businesses alone, revenues increased 4.2%.
"Now with the inclusion of Sky, we grew customer relationships by 3.6% year-over-year, including 400,000 net additions in the first quarter, reaching over 54 million relationships in total," said Chairman and CEO Brian L Roberts.
