Broadcom: Jefferies raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Jefferies reinstates its "buy" recommendation on Broadcom shares, increasing its target price for them to to 550 dollars (from 520 dollars), a day after the semiconductor maker reported its Q2 results.


"We think AVGO's controlled shipment process to true customer demand and unique visibility lowers its structural risk relative to peers," the broker summarised.

In early trading the share is up over 1.5% at about 473 dollars.
