Boeing: unveils 3rd quarter orders

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has presented its order book for the 3rd quarter, both for commercial operations and defence contracts.


During these three months, Boeing has sold 28 commercial craft (of which close to half, 13, are Boeing 787s), which brings the number of commercial aircraft sold by the aircraft manufacturer since the beginning of the year to 98.

There have also been multiple defence contracts this quarter: Boeing sold 19 Apache combat helicopters (7 new and 12 reconditioned), 6 Chinook transport helicopters (4 new and 2 reconditioned), 5 F/A-18 combat planes, 4 KC-46 refuelling planes and 3 P-8 patrol craft.
