Boeing: suspends operations at Philadelphia factory
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing is suspending production operations at its facilities near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, due to the spread of COVID-19 in the area.
The US aviation giant said it will suspend operations at its Ridley Township plant, beginning at the end of Friday 3 April, for two weeks, with return to work scheduled for 20 April.
The site includes manufacturing facilities for military rotorcraft, including the popular CH-47F Chinook helicopters.
