Apple: BofA maintains its 'neutral' opinion

(CercleFinance.com) - Tuesday, Bank of America maintained its 'neutral' opinion on Apple, paired with a price target of 160 dollars, taking stock of the technology group's business in China.

In a research note, the analyst states that the American giant had until now played its cards admirably well in the country, which it says will continue to be a great opportunity in terms of market. In this sense, BofA considers that the price of the iPhone 13, which is lower than that of the iPhone 12, could boost demand in China.

However, it sees the only problem as being the restrictions imposed in Beijing in terms of video games, which are likely to affect the group's sales of devices, at the same time as a possible resurgence of nationalism in the country. At this stage, BofA therefore deems it to have a risk/return profile in balance with the current levels.
