Amazon: AWS chosen by Meta as cloud provider

(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon announced that Meta (Facebook) has deepened its relationship with its Amazon Web Services (AWS) division as a strategic cloud provider to advance R&D, facilitate third-party collaborations and improve operational efficiency.


Meta will use AWS capabilities to complement its existing on-premises infrastructure, and will expand its use of AWS compute, storage, database and security services to ensure privacy, reliability and scalability in the cloud.

In addition, both groups will jointly help companies use PyTorch on AWS to take deep learning models from research to production faster and easier.
In early trading across the Altlantic, both shares were up over 0.5%.
