Ericsson: Telstra successfully tests EIAP platform

(CercleFinance.com) - Telstra has successfully tested Ericsson's Intelligent Automation Platform (EIAP) on its commercial network, marking the first global deployment of the Automated Configuration Consistency (EACC) application, Ericsson announced today.


Ericsson says its EACC application detects and corrects configuration management consistency errors in the RAN network with the ability to roll back in the event of KPI (performance indicator) degradation.

"This innovation reflects both companies' commitment to increased efficiency through automation and AI, delivering a more stable, high-performance network experience," the company points out.

Using EIAP, Telstra will now be able to deploy automated applications (rApps) in an open ecosystem, aimed at autonomous network optimization.
