Ericsson: network slice management solution

(CercleFinance.com) - Deutsche Telekom and Ericsson have announced the world's first implementation of a single integrated solution to customise and manage end-to-end network slices for cloud-based enterprise applications.


In a proof of concept (PoC), the partners have successfully "instantiated" a secure network slice that automatically connects to private cloud services.

The solution addresses a company's need to ensure that employees get the network performance required for smooth and secure operation of their cloud-based work applications, Ericsson said.
