H&M: Barclays still a buyer

(CercleFinance.com) - Barclays reinstates its "overweight" recommendation on the H&M share, along with its target price of 180 Swedish kronor, considering it "well positioned to outperform its peers in this challenging environment and emerge with stronger market shares".


"While visibility on lockdown timelines and consumer behaviour in various countries remains limited, we expect supply will significantly exceed demand in the textile industry in the coming months," Barclays says.

Although H&M's performance is likely to remain under pressure in the near term, the broker believes that "investor attention should now focus on FY21 and the years after".
