Electrolux: Q1 net sales rise 22.8%

(CercleFinance.com) - Electrolux has reported net sales of 29 billion Swedish kronor (about 2.
9 billion euros) for the first quarter of 2021, up 22.8% in organic terms y-o-y.

The Swedish household appliance giant highlights significant volume growth, higher prices and improvements in its product mix.

In this context, EBIT came in at 2.3 billion Swedish kronor, compared to 122 million Swedish kronor a year earlier.

Meanwhile, earnings reached 1.5 billion Swedish kronor, compared with a loss of 86 million Swedish kronor in Q1 2020, resulting in an EPS of 5.41 Swedish kronor, above the consensus.
