Electrolux: unveils innovations for sustainable products

(CercleFinance.com) - Electrolux unveiled a series of innovations that the Swedish household electrical appliance maker has developed in collaboration with five startups.


Amongst the final selected projects, the company has designed with Roteax a circular cycle to turn plastic waste into pallets to be re-used in processes, leveraging on an innovative moulding machine.

Electrolux said it has also developed, this time with PlanetCare, a filter that can be embedded in washing machines to stop the release of microfibers into the wastewater system.

After this 12-month process, the company said the five projects have completed digital demos and that it is now looking forward to having some of these collaborations "move to the next level".
