Electrolux: 'Professional' division set to be floated

(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish household electrical appliance maker Electrolux has announced that it will float Electrolux Professional, its professional equipment subsidiary, on 23 March.


According to the terms in the prospectus, the deal, which is scheduled for 19 March, company shareholders will receive one Electrolux Professional share for each of their shares held (whether A or B shares).

Electrolux Professional shares will be listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.

Electrolux Professional - whose customers are mainly from the food and laundry sectors - is considered as the Swedish group's most profitable business.

Electrolux has also announced the launch of two bond loans maturing in March 2022, for three billion Swedish kronor (around 280 million euros), as part of its EMTN medium-term issue program.
