ASML: Q2 earnings double sequentially

(CercleFinance.com) - ASML has reported Q2 EPS of 3.
54 euros, which has more than doubled (+205%) from Q1 2022, on revenue that has increased 54% sequentially to 5.43 billion euros, with its gross margin nearly stable at 49.1%.

"Demand from our customers remains very strong, as reflected by record net bookings in the second quarter of E8.5 billion," the Dutch semiconductor equipment supplier said.

For the full year, however, ASML is only forecasting revenue growth of around 10%, due to the postponement of certain deliveries until 2023, with the group expecting a gross margin of 49% to 50%.
