ASML: stock rebounds with analysts confident

(CercleFinance.com) - ASML's shares are up again on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange, where the semiconductor equipment maker is one of the biggest risers on the AEX index, with analysts at Berenberg recommending that investors take advantage of the stock's recent weakness.


At noon, the stock was up just over 1%, outperforming the AEX (up 0.5%).

In a note released in the morning, Berenberg believes that the share's 15% fall over the past few weeks represents a buy opportunity.

The broker points out the company's position as a pure monopolistic player in the lithography sector, with a 100% market share in extreme ultraviolet radiation (EUV) equipment. The broker therefore has a buy rating on the stock, with a target price of 540 euros.
