Euronext: record participation in pre-IPO program

(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext announced on Thursday that it had attracted a record number of participants for the 2025 edition of IPOready, its pre-IPO training program, an encouraging sign for a possible recovery in the IPO market.


The operator states that over 160 companies will join this year's program, which enables participants to acquire the knowledge and tools they need to learn about the markets and prepare for a possible listing

The companies come from Belgium, France, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK.

Of these, 67% come from the technology sector, including 41% from media and telecoms, 13% from the cleantech segment and 13% from healthtech, with the industrial segment accounting for the remaining 33%.

Since the program was launched in 2015, over 1,000 participants have joined the program, resulting in 33 finalized IPOs on Euronext representing a total of 1.6 billion euros in fundraising and 5.7 billion euros in cumulative market capitalisation.

In 2024, Euronext welcomed the IPO of French defense company Exosens as part of the program.

Euronext recorded a total of 53 new IPOs last year, compared with 64 in 2023, testifying to the still fragile state of the market.
