Euronext: cash volumes up in September

(CercleFinance.com) - In its monthly update, Euronext indicated Friday evening that the number of cash transactions rose, outside fixed revenues, by 9% in September compared to last month, to a little more than 65.

The Pan-European stock exchange group specified that at approximately three million, the average volume of daily cash transactions registered a 14% growth last month as compared with August.

In euro, cash transaction volumes represented 226.8 billion in September, a rise of 13% compared to the previous month, and the average daily volume increased 19% month-on-month, to more than 10.3 billion.
