Unilever: Goldman Sachs still a buyer, raises target price

(CercleFinance.com) - On Monday Goldman Sachs Equity Research confirmed its "buy" recommendation on Unilever shares, in particular considering that the streamlining of the group's portfolio is not yet reflected in the share's valuation.


"We see portfolio rationalisation as a key catalyst for a potential re-rating, as acts to accelerate growth and increase the sustainability of performance through a more focused portfolio," the broker says.

Goldman Sachs Equity Research has therefore nudged up its target price from 54 euros (4,800 pence) to 55 euros (4,900 pence).
