Airbus: supplies satellite Platforms to Loft Orbital

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that it has been selected to supply space start-up Loft Orbital, with over 15 satellite platforms derived from the Arrow platform, which is the basis for the OneWeb satellite constellation developed by Airbus.


With this acquisition, Loft Orbital confirms its intention to use the Airbus Arrow platform as a platform for its business model of services.

Loft Orbital offers its customers a turnkey service that enables them to rapidly deploy and operate their payloads on reliable and high-performance satellites.

Airbus says modifications will be made to the Arrox platform to accommodate a wider range of missions and longer life applications.
