Airbus: military certification of A400M continues

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Monday that it has completed the majority of the French certification campaign for the A400M military transport aircraft, regarding helicopter air-to-air refuelling capacity.


During this test phase, conducted with the French defense procurement agency (DGA) in western France, 81 contacts were made with two army H225M helicopters, enabling the transfer of some 6.5 tonnes of fuel.

Airbus says it expects to have the helicopters certified for in-flight refuelling by the end of the year.
