Airbus: Oddo still a buyer
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has updated its production schedule, featuring several changes that are mainly centred on the A320 family.
The analyst says that Airbus now anticipates: i/ an increase in A320 Family production rate from 40 per month to 43 per month in Q3, before a further increase to 45 per month in Q4 compared to 47 per month from July, ii/ maintaining the long-haul production rate at 5 per month for the A350 and 2 per month for the A330 and iii/ an increase from 4 to 5 per month from the end of Q1 for the A220.
Oddo points out that Airbus still anticipates a return to pre-COVID levels between 2023 and 2025 (compared to 2024 in its estimates).
Oddo believes that most of the details featuring in its statement are already in the pipeline. The broker reiterates its buy rating on the stock, with a target price of 112 euros.
