Heineken: changes terms of Mexican partnership
(CercleFinance.com) - Heineken has amended the terms of its partnership with Latin American retailer Oxxo, while extending the deal through to 2024.
According to a commercial relationship that began in 2010 under a ten-year agreement, Oxxo's only beer brands sold have been those of Heineken Mexico.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Heineken Mexico's brands will no longer be the only beer brands available at Oxxo stores, starting this year, Heineken said.
Given the nature of the Mexican beer market, Heineken expects to continue growing its Mexican business in the coming years.
