ArcelorMittal: aims to cut CO2 emissions in Europe
(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal Europe announces that it has set a target of a 30% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2030, in line with the target announced by the steelmaker last May, i.
e. being carbon-neutral in Europe by 2050.
"We've spent the last few years testing a range of technologies and now is the time to scale up and put them into action, with the support of the EU and member states," said Geert Van Poelvoorde, CEO of ArcelorMittal Europe.
