Glencore: obtains 9.1 billion dollars loan refinancing
(CercleFinance.com) - Swiss-based commodities giant Glencore has signed a 9.
1 billion dollars revolving credit facility that refinances an existing loan, the company said on Thursday.
The facility, which refinances a short-term 7.3 billion loan that was taken on in May 2017, was agreed with a group of 58 banks, it said.
The discussions were initially launched at 6 billion dollars and closed substantially oversubscribed, reflecting strong support from lenders and due to the stronger commodity price environment, Glencore said.
