Ryanair: pleads to remove the cap on passenger traffic in Dublin

( - Ryanair is calling on the Irish Minister for Transport, Eamon Ryan, to urgently lift the 32 million passenger cap at Dublin Airport.
The company believes that this cap on passenger numbers at Dublin Airport, imposed by the IAA (Irish Aviation Authority), prevents the company from meeting growing demand during peak periods, such as the October and Christmas vacations.

As a result, Ryanair anticipates 'a significant increase' in air fares.

The company believes that this capping measure is detrimental to Irish tourism, the economy and employment.

In this context, Ryanair urges people to 'vote for politicians who will act to lift this restriction and support the growth of Dubli'n Airport.
