Bridgepoint: EU clears acquisition of ACT

(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has cleared the acquisition of Sustainable Market Solutions and ACT by FFL of the Netherlands and Bridgepoint of the UK.


ACT provides market-based sustainable energy solutions, including environmental compliance services, corporate sustainability, fuels and commodities, as well as financial instruments.

The Commission concluded that the proposed acquisition would not give rise to any competition concerns as there are no overlaps or vertical relationships between ACT and its parent companies.

Little impact though - the Bridgepoint share is currently down about 1% in London.
