Compass: board chairman Paul Walsh to step down

(CercleFinance.com) - British catering firm Compass Group said that its board chairman Paul Walsh will step down from the board to focus on other business interests.


Walsh will remain chairman until his successor is appointed and will not seek re-election at the 2021 general meeting, the company said.

A director of McDonald's and FedEx, Paul Walsh - who had been Diageo's chief executive - has been the chairman of Compass for the last six years.
