Reckitt Benckiser: upbeat after FY results
(CercleFinance.com) - The Reckitt Benckiser share is up over 2% in London on Thursday, after the consumer goods group published adjusted net income from continuing operations that is up 2.
7% at 2.47 billion pounds for 2019.
At over 12.8 billion pounds, sales were up 2% as reported and were up 0.8% on a comparable basis, with a positive mix-price effect of 3% more than offsetting a 2% contraction in volumes.
Reckitt Benckiser will pay a total dividend of 174.6 pence per share for 2019. For the coming year, it anticipates higher comparable sales growth, with firm progress towards its medium-term targets.
