Shell: Barclays raises earnings estimate

(CercleFinance.com) - Following the group's Q2 trading figures, the analyst confirms its equal weight rating on the stock, along with a target price of 30 pounds.


"We see the trading update as a positive and we increase the group's 2Q earnings by 3%," Barclays says.

"More importantly, the $4bn impairment reversals and increase in long-run oil price set the scene for the planned financial framework review, and we think a dividend increase becomes more likely," the broker adds.
