Burberry: Stifel raises its target price

(CercleFinance.com) - Stifel maintains its 'hold' recommendation on Burberry, but raises its target price from 830 to 1150 pence, in the wake of sales projections raised by 5-7% for the 2025-26 financial years of the British high-end clothing and accessories house.


After last Friday's trading update, the broker is encouraged by the acceleration in growth for its key categories (scarves and outerwear) and the increase in new customers in December (the first time in two years).

The biggest question for investors is the sustainability of the full-price sales recovery trajectory, as we approach the spring-summer season and leave the winter jacket and scarf gifting season behind," adds Stifel.
