BT: Berenberg raises target price, maintaining 'buy' rating
(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday Berenberg raised its target price for the British telecom operator BT share from 155 pence to 165 pence, saying that catalysts are "coming thick and fast.
The German broker - which keeps a "buy" rating on the share - said that BT has been one of the best-performing stocks in the sector recently, up 37% since the beginning of November.
Justifying the rally with "backward-looking newsflow," Berenberg said that the positive catalysts that it expects in the coming months should have scope to drive the shares even higher.
