GSK: advance order from Brussels

(CercleFinance.com) - The French government has announced the signature, by the European Commission, of a pre-order agreement for 300 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine being developed by Sanofi and GSK, which could be available in 2021.


This future contract will enable each Member State of the European Union to order the vaccine on advantageous terms, once it has provided sufficient proof of its effectiveness and the absence of side effects, Paris said.

France is committed, alongside its European partners, to support fair and equitable access to vaccines against Covid-19, under the best possible conditions of safety for the population, the government added.
