BAE Systems unveils autonomous ground vehicle

(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems unveils its ATLAS CCV, an autonomous unmanned ground vehicle.


This modular 8x8 model offers 'a cost-effective and scalable solution to support armed forces in performing hazardous tasks', says the manufacturer.

Designed in collaboration with partners, it operates autonomously on- and off-road, complementing traditional vehicles.

Armed with an automated turret, ATLAS CCV can be transported in a standard container, extending the endurance of vehicles in service.
