Verallia: 2020 net profit up 68%

(CercleFinance.com) - Verallia has reported a 68% increase in net profit at 210 million euros, along with a 1.
7% increase in adjusted EBITDA to 626 million euros, meaning a margin of 24.7% on sales that are down 1.9% to 2.54 billion euros (+2.1% LFL).

Its Board of Directors has decided to propose the payment of a cash dividend of 0.95 euro per share for 2020 (based on EPS of 1.67 euro), an amount that will be submitted for approval at its AGM scheduled for 15 June.

For 2021, the glass packaging manufacturer estimates that its adjusted EBITDA will increase to around 650 million euros and that its adjusted EBITDA margin will exceed the medium-term target of 25%.
