CGG: completes largest OBN multi-client survey

(CercleFinance.com) - CGG announces that it has completed the largest multi-client survey in the central part of the North Sea (CNS), with the acquisition of sea-bottom seismic data (OBN).


The first results should be available in the first quarter of 2021. The first phase of this multi-client study will acquire over 2,000 km2 of OBN data.

Sophie Zurquiyah, CGG's CEO, said, "The new data set will also complement CGG's extensive high-quality Cornerstone towed-streamer data library in the area and support the UK Oil & Gas Authority's strategy for Maximizing Economic Recovery."
