Voltalia: over 700MW of projects being built in Brazil

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia has announced that it has launched a number of social projects in Brazil in order to "promote local development and social dialogue with the various populations".


Voltalia is developing large-scale renewable energy projects in Brazil with wind, solar, hydroelectric and hybrid complexes totalling 821 MW in operation and 701.2 MW under construction.

With a potential of 2.4 GW, the Serra Branca complex (Rio Grande do Norte State) is the largest wind and solar complex in the world. This renewable energy development continues with over 5 GW of projects in the pipeline.

The company is committed to ensuring that each project contributes to the development of the territories through the creation of jobs, sustainable infrastructure and the deployment of social projects.
