Voltalia: two new wind power projects in France

(CercleFinance.com) - Voltalia has announced that it has won 70 megawatts of new wind power projects in France, as the winner of the two projects it presented to the seventh onshore wind power call for tenders launched by the French Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.


The renewable energy group was thus appointed for the Rives Charentaises project, a complex straddling the departments of Charente and Vienne, which consists of 19 wind turbines, with total power of 38 megawatts.

The second project won by Voltalia concerns the Laignes project, a complex located in the Côte d'Or, consisting of 10 wind turbines, with a total power of 32.4 megawatts. It will benefit from a scale effect with other sites concerning maintenance.
