Worldline: Gilles Grapinet steps down as CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - The Board of Directors announces the departure of Gilles Grapinet as Chief Executive Officer and Director of Worldline, with effect from 30 September 2024.
The Board of Directors has decided to appoint Marc-Henri Desportes, currently Executive Vice-President and Director of Merchant Services, as interim CEO. In this capacity, he will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Company and implementing the strategic decisions of the Board of Directors.
Worldline reiterates its ongoing commitment to the execution of Power24. This plan aims to accelerate Worldline's transformation into an even more customer-focused company, strengthen its operational efficiency and position the Group for stronger future growth and improved margins, it says.
Under the leadership of Marc-Henri Desportes, we will continue the execution of Power24 and all our major development initiatives. At the same time, we will prepare Worldline's new strategic plan to leverage our remarkable assets for long-term development and value creation for all our stakeholders, Wilfried Verstraete, Chairman of Worldline's Board of Directors, said.
