Neoen: wins 49.8 MWp of solar projects in France

(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen announces that it has won 49.
8 MWp of solar projects during the last government tenders in France, managed by the CRE.

Neoen also indicates that it is the first winner in the "canopies and buildings" category with the canopies project at Lyon airport and the second in the call for tenders solar power plants on the ground, with the Tournissan project.

The carport project, initiated by Vinci Airports, will cover 14 ha of car parks at Lyon-Saint-Exupéry airport (Rhône). It was developed by Neoen in partnership with SunMind, a wholly-owned subsidiary of VINCI Concessions dedicated to solar energy, and its construction will start in 2023 with commissioning scheduled for the summer of 2024.

In addition, in Occitanie, the photovoltaic power plant of Tournissan (30 MWp, Aude) will produce nearly 40 GWh per year, or the equivalent of the annual consumption of around 15,000 inhabitants (heating included).
