Fnac Darty: Q3 comp. sales up 7.3%

(CercleFinance.com) - The retail group has posted Q3 2020 sales of 1.
86 billion euros, up 7.3% in comparable data.

The resumption of sales in stores and strong growth in online sales (+30%) over the quarter enable the group to reduce the loss stemming from the health crisis to less than 100 million euros at the end of September 2020.

Fnac Darty remains confident in its ability to succeed during the end-of-year shopping season. It remains focused on cost control, capex and cash flow control, but is cautious given the economic and health uncertainties that could impact its stores and shopping centres in the fourth quarter, a crucial period for the group.
