Suez: opens water treatment plant in Sri Lanka

(CercleFinance.com) - Suez has announced that it has completed Phase II of the design and construction of the Kelani River Bank (KRB2) water treatment plant in Colombo, Sri Lanka.


The plant has a production capacity of 180,000 m3 of water per day. The site's total production capacity has now been doubled to 360,000 m3 of water per day, providing drinking water to an additional 1.75 million people in the north of the capital city Colombo.

Suez has built numerous water treatment plants for several cities, including Colombo, Kandy, Anuradhapura, Trinquemalay, Negombo, Badulla and Kurunegala.
