Suez: Grand Chalon awards group water management contracts
(CercleFinance.com) - The group has signed contracts with Sébastien Martin, the President Le Grand Chalon and 1st Vice-Chairman of the Departmental Council of Saône-et-Loire for the management of drinking water and wastewater in the City Centre and North district.
These new contracts will start on 1 July 2019 for a period of 10 years. They represent cumulative revenue of 115 million euros.
Suez said that these new contracts intend to increase proximity with users: in addition to the customer service of the water service located in Chalon-sur-Saone, another reception point will open its doors in the north of the Agglomeration.
Finally, the company is also participating in the Climat Air Energie plan of Grand Chalon, with carbon assessments, a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and preserve the biodiversity of the sites.
