Getlink: best month for shuttle since August 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink, the parent company of Eurotunnel, announces that its Shuttle carried 314,378 passenger vehicles in August, up 113% y-o-y, achieving the best monthly performance since August 2019.


Since 1 January, almost 1.46 million passenger vehicles (cars, motorbikes, vehicles with trailers, caravans, motorhomes and coaches) have crossed the Channel on the shuttles (+193% y-o-y).

Le Shuttle Freight carried 106,930 trucks last month, up 1% on August 2021. In the first eight months of 2022, almost one million trucks crossed the Channel on the shuttles (+14% y-o-y).
