Rexel: 13% increase in 2018 recurrent net income

(CercleFinance.com) - Rexel has announced recurrent net income of 12.
8% to 328.1 million euros for 2018, with adjusted EBITA up 6.1% at 608.3 million euros on sales of 13,365.7 million euros, up 0.5% (+3.5% in comparable data and at a constant number of days).

The distributor of electrical equipment will propose its shareholders with a dividend of 0.44 euro per share, two cents above its level last year, representing 41% of recurrent net income, in line with its policy to distribute at least 40%.

For 2019, at constant days Rexel aims to report sales growth of between 2% and 4% (excluding a 1% negative impact from agency closures in Germany and Spain), with adjusted EBITA up between 5% and 7%, along with a continued reduction in its debt.
