Novacyt: launches VersaLab Portable

(CercleFinance.com) - Novacyt shares are up 2% after the company announced an expansion of its VersaLab product portfolio with the launch of VersaLab Portable to "provide an additional level of support in near-patient testing environments".


Dubbed a "PCR lab in a box" the product comes with all the equipment needed to provide bedside PCR testing using Novacyt's PROmate workflow in non-clinical environments, such as offices and workplaces.

"Other potential applications include sport events and facilities, education facilities, the leisure industry, humanitarian bases and retail," the diagnostic test provider adds.
