Eutelsat: multi-year agreement with Liquid in Africa

(CercleFinance.com) - Eutelsat Communications today announced that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Liquid Intelligent Technologies, part of the pan-African Cassava Technologies group, for multi-beam capacity on the Eutelsat Konnect satellite.


Liquid will leverage the resources available on the satellite to meet the connectivity needs of SMEs and home offices in Uganda, Southern Sudan and the eastern regions of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

A longstanding partner of Eutelsat, operating Ku-band resources on the Eutelsat 7B satellite, Liquid will also host Eutelsat Konnect's first ground station in sub-Saharan Africa, located in Krugersdorp, South Africa.
